While in Skagway next July we are traveling up the Klondike highway to Emerald Lake and back. What exactly are the highlights of the road trip and recommendations of whether or not to visit the dog sled camp and the museum in Caribou Crossing? We are touring museums in Fairbanks before we start our tour. Thanks for your thoughts!

If your excursion stops at Caribou Crossing, the museum and sled dog area are only feet from the dining area.
