Funny. I get stuff in hte mail from Dominos saying they've missed me ordering pizza, but never anything from an airline LOL

I saw on the news this morning that Independence had some type of computer glich. They gave away around 100 tickets for free:eek: . It took them about an hour to catch the problem. They said they would honor those tickets anyways. This should help their bottom line:rolleyes: ! I just hope it doesn't make them fold even quicker. I keep saying Nov. 4th, Nov. 4th, Nov. 4th. LOL

All airlines manage to do that from time to time. Catching it in an hour is pretty good. Honouring the tickets without quibble is also good. Given that they only sold a handful of tickets, the lost money's not going to make any difference.

Well good luck ,we are leaving on Oct 30 and just found out our flights were cancelled. ATA ---11 days to departure.They (ata)will have to contact us to rebook. So we have to wait. I should recieve a call by Friday or Monday:( I just want to cry. It is 8 of us so rebooking isnt going to be easy.

Sweetnlow2005, yeah they scrapped our original flight. They booked us on a little earlier flight. My fingers are still crossed and I'm pretty lucky. So for now, it's still a go. Thanks for your post.

Well, they made it to and past 4 November, but only just - FlyI filed for Chapter 11 protection today (7 November).
