Priority Boarding and Buying Cheers

I'm on the Victory in two days to celebrate my friend's 40th bday! It's been nearly three years since I sailed Carnival! We have two cabins of three...my cabin gets priority boarding due to my platinum status, and we plan to buy Cheers. The other cabin does not have priority boarding and does not plan to buy Cheers. I'm thinking my cabin boards, we buy Cheers, and by then the other cabin should have boarded and we can meet up. Two questions...will this timing likely work? Where do we buy Cheers? Thanks in advance for your help!

Possibly, but buying cheers is really as simple and quick as ordering a drink, so it really does not take very long. You can purchase cheers right at the atrium bar - perhaps buy it there, grab a seat and wait for them? Alternatively you can buy it by the lido pool area, and have them meet you there.
