We are planning a b2b next September and having read these boards definitely want our cabin to be mainland side for one leg the question is should we change cabins for the second leg so as to have that view both ways - is there much scenery on the other side - we will be doing Diamond Princess inside passage any comments would be very much appreciated.

There aren't that many sections of the trip where the scenery is all on the starboard side going north - only for maybe 6-8 hours of daylight cruising on the whole trip. I wouldn't bother changing cabins because of it.
