Shower headroom

He most likely will not be able to fit under the showerhead comfortably, but this will depend on what is comfortable to him.....I copied the info below from the RCCL website. The website does say info may vary according to ship.

"What is the height of the shower? Showers are European telephone-style, adjustable from 1.4 m to 1.9 m, or 6’2”, max. clear height. Someone taller than 6'2" will fit in the shower but will likely have to duck to get his or her head under the running water."

My DH is 6'6" and has never had issues with ceiling height in the shower or any other area of the ship on any of the Royal Caribbean ships we've sailed. Enjoy your cruise!
The one report of ceiling height issues is in the new Aft Grand Suites (identified on the ship, but not on the website, as new Aqua Theatre Suites) after the Oasis refurbishment (these are on the former Aft "secret balconies on Decks 11, 12 and 14). There are claims that the shower ceiling height is less than 6 feet:eek: I'm 6'3" and the only height issues I've ever had on RCI is at the re-boarding security area, but I would do a lot more research before I'd book one of those new Oasis Aft suites.
