Grannycb Posted February 11, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2015 (edited) Has anyone been to the Marche du Vieux lately? It looks like an interesting place. Also, is the way to the market an easy walk from the ship? I can't really tell the surroundings from a map, and the market website is in French. Thanks in advance. Added: Is the ferry to Levis within walking distance? Edited February 11, 2015 by Grannycb

Added: Is the ferry to Levis within walking distance? I have been to the Marché du Vieux Port. In my view, it is small but interesting. The walking distance from the ship will depend on which berth you are docked at. I checked the Port of Québec web site for the 2015 berth assignments. The schedule is not out yet I was docked at berth 22 which is about a 15-20 min walk to the market, a 10 min walk to the Gare Fluviale (ferry to Lévis). I would take a look at page 4 and 11 of Tom's Port Guide to give you an idea of where things are situated. I would draw you a map and post it but I am out of the country, working from a tablet (so it is a bit difficult...)
