Norwegian Gem dining

The Grand Pacific is a large dining room with high ceilings and Hawaiian murals. It's very pretty. The Magenta is a low ceiling room and more modern in tone. Both serve the exact same food. Take your pick or move from one MDR to the other as the mood strikes you.

Bowling is something like $5 per person per game. Towards the second half of your cruise, they offer a 2 for 1 deal.

Rock wall climbing is usually no charge on these ships.

Is there a preference to the Magenta or The Grand Pacific dining room? Also, are there charges for the rock climbing or bowling?

They are decorated differently but both have the same menu. We liked them both. Rock climbing is free, bowling there is a surcharge. It was $9 a game when we were on the Gem last year.
