Special Dining Refund Question

Booked the Tuscan one night with X rep...online wasn't accepting my card. Rep had trouble as well. Put me on hold then came back and said booking was made. Reviewing my card balance online showed a double booking. I've requested a refund through Captains Club rep who reported it was an IT problem and would be rectified 'soon'. Nothing yet. I'm agreeable to it becoming an OBC if it's easier to handle that way and emailed that solution a few days ago - no answer. My X rep said she's escalated it to a supervisor...wondering why that would be necessary. We can't dine the same evening in the same restaurant at the same time TWICE. Common sense would make this automatic without some sort of review.

 

Has anyone ever had this happen and was there a problem receiving your refund?
