Grand - Aft Emerald Deck Mini Question

The Grand Princess' aft mini suites on Emerald Deck (8) are above the Vista Lounge. Has anyone experienced venue noise or engine vibration in these cabins.

A bit of vibration is felt when coming in or going out of a port. This is when the side thrusters are in use. Only a short time. No problem.

 

Only minimal noise is heard from Vista Lounge on starboard side. Some say you hear more on port side. I have only stayed on starboard side.

I thoroughly agree with Cruisin' Rabbit. We were in the aft-most port side mini on the Crown (E730) and the vibration/noise was not an issue. Covered veranda was a big plus.

We were in E725 and never had a problem with noise etc. LOVED the cabin and would book again without hesitation. We never heard a thing from the Club Fusion below.

I had done research before the cruise and specifically on the Grand there had been a few complaints about the noise on the port side for the last 3 mini-suites : E724, E726, and especially E728. So we choose the starboard side for our Alaska cruise.

 

The cabin was really nice and we truly enjoyed the covered balcony.
