Astro Flyer Posted February 27, 2015 #76 Share Posted February 27, 2015 We're getting closer to Elite and I am wondering exactly what a "mini-bar setup" contains? Would anyone consider posting their "elite benefit letter" from their cabin (with personal information removed, of course)? Thanks! You can get 1.5 litre bottles of water. I think I read someplace the going rate was eight bottles, but the only time I did it, it was nine. But now that I know the going rate for surplus coffee cards on eBay, that makes the water rather expensive. Here's a link to a PDF of the Captain's Circle FAQs discussing the Elite Minibar & exchange options including water: Alcoholic beverages may be exchanged for non-alcoholic beverages on a one-for-one basis Full mini-bar may be exchanged for two (2) Coffee Cards All water mini-bar setup will consist of eight (8) 1.5 liter bottles of water http://boards.cruisecritic.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=271055&d=1368407263

But now that I know the going rate for surplus coffee cards on eBay, that makes the water rather expensive. The prices I'm seeing are $25 each so $50 is a little much for only 8 bottles of water. Time to join the eBay crowd & sell off my surplus cards. ;)

redtogo Posted February 28, 2015 #81 Share Posted February 28, 2015 If the cruise is sold as a 14 only you get one setup. If the cruise is sold as 2 7's, you get two setups. Has nothing to do with OBC FCC credit, shareholder or military. Here.
redtogo Posted February 28, 2015 #82 Share Posted February 28, 2015 Well duh of course you know. I was afraid other people might misunderstand so clarified. Confused me, and I've been on many cruises.
redtogo Posted February 28, 2015 #83 Share Posted February 28, 2015 Our mini bar always has regular water and sparkling water. I don't see any in the previously posted photo.
