Does anyone know the name of the Freedom Maitre D? I wanted to send him an email with a request, but I wanted to address him/her personally.

Just an FYI, on John Heald's Blog he said they do not read those emails. If you have a request John said to email him because he does read passenger emails.

Drasko is the Sr Maitre'D on Freedom and we always e-mail to request a table for 2 ahead of time and the request has always been read?

I just want to also chime in that we e-mailed in advance with a request for a private table in a corner (for the sake of everyone else -- we had a 2 year old with us) and our request was granted. I also made a similar request for our next cruise on the Sensation and received a reply within 20 minutes informing me that, again, our request would be granted. I'm not sure if this is standard practice, but it's been 2 for 2 for us. I'd give it a shot. :)

Don't believe that rubbish. I have always gotten a response and accommodated.

 

Eliminate the middle man. I see more posts of those requests get lost than the direct ones to the MD's. And then the KAN post excuses for those lost requests.
