We-R-Off Posted February 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2015 After a great many posts pre-cruise, our cruise line handled the visa without any pain or great expense. We brought our own passport photos but if you don't have any, the ship's photographer will take & charge you for these. We handed our passports to Customer Service with the relevant form given to us on arrival. The cost was $6 for passengers not staying overnight. The overnight Visa was $50. Passengers that stayed overnight in either Thailand or Vietnam got their passports returned for departure at those countries for an overnight stay & had to return them once again on arrival back to the ship. As we never overnighted we collected our passports the day before our final arrival. It' said pity that the cruise companies didn't give us this simple information pre-cruise, it would make life easier.

We-R-Off Posted February 19, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted February 19, 2015 This is not clear at all. Visas for which country? Which cruise company? Apologies my post was regarding Vietnam Visas. We cruised with Celebrity. I would think that all other cruise companies should charge the same. There was no difference regarding the Nationalities of the passengers, the charge was still the same, as was the procedure.
