Shore>Mom Posted February 20, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2015 No plans of yet in Grand Cayman. Since the pools are so small on the Breeze DH and the kids think we will probably want to have a beach AND pool day. Suggestions? Thanks in advance for any replies! cb at sea Posted February 20, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2015 If you want a pool, you'll have to pay a hotel for it's usage. Not really needed, tho! IF you stay on the ship, the pools will be virtually empty on a port day...very lovely! All of the beaches are public....all the access points have chair/umbrella rentals, food/drink, restrooms, etc....and watersport rentals. There is really little reason to need a pool, or a hotel to use that pool!
mrsfuzzmo Posted February 20, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2015 Other than doing a day pass at one of the few resorts (if any) that might offer one, Royal Palms is the only one with a pool and a swim up bar, but it's adults only. Not much in the way of beach clubs for kids (like in Cozumel). I'd plan on spending time in the "clear as a swimming pool" ocean and not try and find/pay for a pool. drew sailbum Posted February 21, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 21, 2015 Billy Bones bar at Treasure Island has a swim up bar. If you are drinking and paying they won't kick you out.
