Low cost cruise Jewel 3/27/16

At least it's low cost in my book.

Inside room is $344 per person.

I'm putting a room on hold while I think about it.

Why think - it is so cheap? On the official web site for Canada it is $603 plus $78 taxes. Even taking in account the official exchange rate the rate shouldn't be that high.

I noticed this price as well today. Good price for inside and balcony rooms - if you factor in the $200 OBC for balcony.

I noticed the week prior (Mar 20) has a similar balcony price and the 5 port itinerary. I will be on the Jewel in a week and may reserve a room on board for March 20.

Thanks

We just booked for the week before (3/20/16) on what I think is a pretty good rate too considering it's spring break right before Easter.

I got 2 oceanview connecting plus $200 on board credit for less than my current cruise I'm booked on in an interior room for 4. Gonna love the extra cabin space and the itinerary looks fabulous.

Airfare will pretty much be the same since we are coming from Wisconsin so I know I will pay about the same to Florida or San Juan. Plus I think it would be fun to explore San Juan pre-cruise!

On a slightly related note, I saw some really good prices on Jewel of the Seas Alaska cruises yesterday morning too. $400 + tax for an inside guarantee on the June 5 sailing and $450 + tax for the June 12 sailing.

Glad I was able to book one of them before the price nearly tripled later in the day!

Good prices.

Now all you have to do is buy airfare to San Juan, Puerto Rico!

You aren't kidding. I thought we got a great deal for an upcoming April cruise for $3200 all in for 4 of us in 2 connecting rooms and we could live it up on ship. That was until we had to spend almost that much again on the flight.

We booked this same cruise last year and had $400 flights for it. Unfortunately, we had to cancel it the day before we were scheduled to leave. I thought for certain we could get $400 flights again. I guess nothing is ever certain!

did a mock booking..Their website is a joke

Stateroom Stateroom Total $1,385.54 USD

Guest 1 Guest 2

Cruise Fare: $839.00 $839.00

Taxes, fees and port expenses: $63.77 $63.77

Onboard Credit $100.00 $100.00

both passenger prices are the same, yet pass 2 gets a 420 discount..

Why are you acting so surprised?

It's the BOGOHO pricing.
