Pia1913 Posted March 1, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 1, 2015 (edited) Hello everyone, We will be boarding on Sunday and we are wondering if you can buy wine Sunday morning. Thanks for the help. After noon. ABC opens at 11, but I think they can't sell any until 12. Edited March 1, 2015 by Pia1913

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Forums mobile app Florida laws are crazy. All depends on which town you're in whether or not you can buy before noon. Some county areas allow it; most cities do not.

Pia1913 Posted March 2, 2015 #7 Share Posted March 2, 2015 Thanks everyone. We will try to buy it Saturday night when we get in. Total Wine is usually open until 11 PM. I think Publix and Winn Dixie are open until 10.

Capt_BJ Posted March 9, 2015 #9 Share Posted March 9, 2015 (edited) Florida laws are crazy. All depends on which town you're in whether or not you can buy before noon. yes and no . . . FLORIDA - the state - does not regulate this ... they leave it up to local municipalities. SO the rules can be very patchwork ..... in the greater TAMPA area you may or may not be in the city of Tampa so city law may apply or county law . . . or some local jurisdiction. Where I live in Florida there are two rest'/bars about 200 yards apart. One can sell beer on Sunday at 10 and the other not until noon. One is in a city (within city limits) with one set of rules, the other is in a 'unincorporated' area ... different rules. IME it is unusual to see a place that only sells booze (like TW) to open an hour b4 they are allowed to sell . . . . I'd call the place in question . . .
