Final payment issue

So I realized today after getting an email at 4:55 pm that my final payment was due today. Since I booked through CAS, I couldn't make the payment online and CAS is closed on the weekends and the NCL number closed at 5 pm. What will happen? I assume the reservation will not cancel on me and I can call tomorrow and make the payment. Is this correct?

Sorry OP, but it looks like you do not check your emails so often. NCL usually send the Payment Reminder emails 5 days before the payments are due.

Weird. I've never gotten a Payment Reminder e-mail for final payment. I also book through CAS (Casinos at Sea).

Have never gotten an email like that.....but have always booked through a TA who makes the payment. Is this something that just happens when one books directly with NCL?

Actually I do check my mail often I have an Iphone. I checked back 2 weeks and no email. So you are incorrect. I was looking at a bad website and CS is open until 9 so I got through after being on hold for 35 minutes. Which to me is unacceptable. If I was trying to book a new cruise I would have hung up.

My cruise is may 10th, final payment for me was feb 24th. I did not get an email till feb 24th. In the past the email reminders came a few days ahead. I thought this to be strange that i got it day of final payment.

Kind of snippy this morning, aren't you? To say a poster is "wrong" is wrong. Others have posters say they've gotten reminders, and so have I. Maybe you didn't get one, but it doesn't mean we are "incorrect".

Being on the same cruise :) I received several. My PCC must think I'm a deadbeat. :D

I think he was responding to someone saying he didn't check his email frequently. I think he's well within bounds to says that someone's characterization of his behavior is wrong. He actually never addresses anyone being wrong about getting emails.

I too have read the comment that CAS is closed on weekends, they aren't and I think that was an important clarification.

ummm....the poster WAS incorrect because they intimated that the OP didnt check email often enough. OP- you are NOT the snippy one! Have over 20 NCL cruises and never have received an email except the past few years to our NCL account.

Well, I didn't intend or expect this reaction. I was stating that the poster was incorrect for saying that I didn't check my email. I found the poster to be a bit rude. I have my mail synced to my phone and I check it routinely. I did find it odd that the only email reminder came mid day on the day the deposit was due.

I want to thank those that came to my defense. I find that on message boards like this that it is so easy to attack people and make statements regarding people and their behavior since it is all anonymous.

I appreciate the wealth of knowledge on this board and that is why I asked my question.

I already explained myself but I hope you have a great day and perhaps chill out.

Kind of irrelevant since you made final payment but you do not need to make payments through CAS. You can call the regular number for payments on CAS bookings.

Well either I had an idiot on the phone at NCL or your incorrect. I booked through CAS and wanted to make my final payment. Called the regular NCL number held on for 57 minutes until someone answered and they said sorry we cannot take your payment u must make it through CAS...I will transfer you ughhhh another 35 minutes later they finally took my money.

Oh and ps. I have never gotten a final payment reminder but maybe because I usually pay before my final payment date.
