Just Want to See Antibes & St. Paul de Vence

Will be on The Epic and docking in Cannes on 5/15/15. Have already been to this port numerous times so I want to just see and spend more time in Antibes and St. Paul de Vence. I have found a tour that will do this but the problem is I can't get anyone from my roll call to join. Most of the roll callers are newbies to Europe and want to see the normal sites. So my thought was why not take a taxi to Antibes and St. Paul de Vence? I do know that the taxi cost will be expensive but I will be splitting it with a friend. Is this possible to do or should I just take a 4 hour tour that only spends an hour in each town? That cost is around $67 a person which is fine but I just hate not spending more time in these towns. I would appreciate any suggestions.

There is also the bus option to both. Do a search or get some travel books out. $67 is not a bad price for the convenience.

How about asking for 4 hours to get you to St. Paul de Vence and tranfer to Antibes only? After that, go independent while in Antibes and take a bus or the train back to Cannes. The bus from Antibes would only add 2 euro pp and pick off and drop off is central in both Antibes and Cannes.
