Carnival needs to up its game

I think the Vista looks great but I am disappointed with the lack of continuity across the line. They had a 2.0 roll out schedule that wasn't met and not ships are not even getting the full 2.0 upgrades. I think they are on the right track with the Breeze and Vista but they do need to up their game. Pricing on other lines is not much more and often less but other lines include drink packages, dining packages, ext. It would be nice to see a little more creativity and innovation.

what difference does it make? if you don't like it, don't use it...buh-bye...more lobster for me!

So you are just a take it or leave it type of person? I would prefer the brand I enjoy continue to improve itself. My desire, and actions, are to continue cruising Carnival. We have three booked this year and will soon have multiple booked for next year. It is perfectly ok to say you are not satisfied with something and would like to see improvements. This is Cruise CRITIC after all.

Therein lies the rub. You say you want improvement but will continue to cruise CCL.

What motivation does CCL have to improve if their client base continues down the same path as you?

Unfortunately with low fares comes some take aways.

Even the cruise lines with higher per diems are cutting back in certain areas.

Improvements are totally in the eye of the beholder. I have no interest in perks reserved for frequent cruisers...or free booze, or giant ships. I think Carnival has improved over the years.
