Some GEM questions

Hi. I will be on the Gem in a few months in a group of 14. I have a few questions that I would appreciate any help. :-)

 

- Do they accept traveler's checks I the casino?

- Do mini suites get any type of priorities or just the regular suites?

- What types of spa specials do they have throughout the week?

- What is the tapas bar. Do they still have that, if so, any details?

- Also,, how about the crepe station, do they still have that? If so, where?

- Will 14 of us be able to eat dinner together every night in the Magenta?

- What is the Great Outdoors? Is that the buffet?

- How much is bowling?

- Do mini suites get any type of priorities or just the regular suites?

No.

- What types of spa specials do they have throughout the week?

Lots of specials on port days. You can check posts with recent Freestyle Dailies to get an idea. Usually 25% off many/most services. Expect to pay full price on sea days.

 

- What is the tapas bar. Do they still have that, if so, any details?

Tapas... snacks...

- Also,, how about the crepe station, do they still have that? If so, where?

Dunno...Garden Cafe most likely.

- Will 14 of us be able to eat dinner together every night in the Magenta?

Difficult but not impossible. Be be flexible in your dining times. Speak with the restaurant host early. Discuss your needs.

- How much is bowling?

Dunno.... $5 or $6 per person, per game...?

- Also,, how about the crepe station, do they still have that? If so, where?Yes, at buffet

- Will 14 of us be able to eat dinner together every night in the Magenta?

The Great Outdoors is at the aft of the ship. It usually has a smaller buffet. Nice to sit and eat and get great views.

Crepes are at the Garden Buffet. Not each night but try them when available.

The Great Outdoors is wonderful and open late at night. O'Sheehan's is 24 hrs and the Garden Cafe has Crepes every night. :)

Bowling was $9 a game last year.

Bowling was still $9 a frame last month. On occasion they had a bowl one, get one free special. Check the Free Style Daily.
