Does the outlet in the bathroom take a polorized plug - one that has one prong larger than the other.

Yes it does, but there is a sign that says it`s for electric razors only.......no curling irons............jean :cool:

I always plug my electric toothbrush in it. That hasn't caused a problem, near as I can tell.

I wouldn't try anything that heats up, though.

I was going to us it for a night light-the small bulb variety

Denny, that`s a great idea and I`m sure it should be OK as it wouldn`t pull much power. I think I`ll try it too as we usually leave the light on in the bathroom with the door cracked........jean :cool:
