Recommended place to view fireworks on Fantasy

I have asked this question in the past and I was leaning toward watching the fireworks from the port side of deck 13 near Currents on the Fantasy. However, I just realized this is a smoking area and that just won't work for my family.

 

When we were on the Dream we watched the fireworks on the starboard side of deck 12 above the pool against the outer ship railing. We were packed like sardines and we realized the view would have been better on the port side.

 

This time we want to make sure we can see the fireworks without straining and we want to be able to see the jumbo screen and of course Capt. Jack make his zip line entrance.

 

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Just 73 days until cruise and counting.

We liked deck 12, port side, against the inner rail. Also, deck 12 starboard side just behind the rope blocking access from the wading pool area toward the aft.

Another vote for deck 12. ANd port side works amazingly well as the crowds all head starboard.

Just be aware that some starboard side verandah rooms do receive a notice to NOT be on the verandah during the fireworks.

We always go starboard deck 12. We aren't really interested in the pirate show before hand (no kids), so we grab a drink and a spot on deck 12 starboard a little early. :)
