UBP and Kids Soda Package questions

Do both adults have to purchase the same package, or can one purchase the beer and wine package and the other purchase the regular alcohol package.

Can the kids soda package be purchased after the first day. My daughter hasn't decided yet whether she wants her son to have the soda package. If she decides after she is onboard, do they prorate the cost?

I'll answer the soda package one.

 

Yes, you can buy it on board, on the first day at almost any of the big bars on board. There will also be a table (usually on the pool deck) where you can purchase before sail away.

The soda package (like all other drink packages) must be purchased for the whole duration of the cruise.

 

Don't know about mixing alcoholic packages, would assume no since it is not an option in the UBP T&C, only UBP is mentioned as a requirement for all adults.
