hartskys Posted March 11, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2015 I really hope someone can help us out. My husband and I are taking my mother in law (who is 84) on a cruise next month. We want to make it really special for her. She is 84 but can get around quite well just can't walk long distances. Does anyone have any ideas that we could do? Is there tours you can book at the pier? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)
caribsun Posted March 12, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2015 There is a free trolley that takes you around OSJ and the pickup point is very near the ship.
hartskys Posted March 12, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted March 12, 2015 Yes, we have been on it before - she can walk some but not a lot. Would love to take her through the forts but I know she couldn't do that for sure.
Havin'fun Posted March 12, 2015 #4 Share Posted March 12, 2015 Have you thought of renting a wheelchair? A good place to post this question is on the Special Interest Cruising board under disabled cruise travel. Someone should be able to offer some ideas.
