Best Oasis Cabin Locations

Recommended Posts

What kind of cabin are you looking for?

e.g.

Boardwalk w/wo balcony are only on AFT, but they span a few decks and overlook the boardwalk and Aqua theatre.

Central Park are Mid Ship but span a few decks and overlook Central Park.

Promenade are only interior midship on deck 7.

etc

If not in a suite, I like deck 6 for these reasons:

- same deck as Boardwalk / AquaTheater aft and Spa forward.

- walk down one deck to the Promenade.

- walk down one deck to walking / jogging track.

- walk down two decks to Casino and Amber theater.

- walk up 2 decks to Central Park.

- walk down 1 or 2 decks to Main Dining Room.

So most of the time we do not need to bother with elevators and just take the stairs up down 1 or 2 decks for the majority of our activities. The exception is going to/from the pool deck 15.

We booked deck 7, mid ship...so we are mid ship both horizontally and vertically (which is supposed to be better for sea sickness). We're also close to the elevators. What I like about our deck too is that the dining rooms are the three decks below , Boardwalk right below us, and Central Park with Park Café right above us. So I feel like we're in the main locations. We don't mind having to go up a few levels for the pools.

But again, depending on the type of cabin and ship, you may be restricted to a specific location.

A unique opportunity on this ship is to book a boardwalk balcony as far aft as possible and you'll get a nice ocean view as well. It's nice watching the aqua show from your balcony. But keep in mind that it will be noisy especially during show times and it won't be private. We're a family of seven, so we book two cabins and I got to take advantage of this balcony (that was my husband's room) while also getting the advantage of the quiet and private ocean balcony across the hall that I slept in.

Next week when we sail Oasis again, DH gets a Central Park balcony and I get the D1 Ocean balcony across the hall. We are staying on 14 forward this time because we are traveling with our 5 kids plus 2 more kids who will want to be in and out of the kids clubs a lot which are right down the hall from us.

Planning on going on the Oasis sometime in October. Have only been on Carnival so not to sure the best location, we normally stay in balconies.

We sailed on the Oasis about a year ago. We had a Central Park Balcony room, which was great. Mew are sailing on the Oasis again this month, and opted for a Boardwalk Balcony. We are also sailing on the Allure this coming November. Try to get a Boardwalk Balcony from as close to the Aqua Theater as possible. This way you can see all the hustle & bustle of the Boardwalk, watch the Aqua Show & still see some of the ocean from your balcony.
