piatty73 Posted March 16, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2015 We are on the Quest for a May sailing. The price has dropped $1000pp. Seabourn would not adjust our price but did give us an additional on board credit, not for the amount of the price drop. I think this is bad PR. Has anyone else had a different experience.
LaPaloma Posted March 16, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2015 Actually, getting an on board credit shows that they acknowledge the slight. You must realize........when buying a car, a dress, a suit, an airline ticket.....prices change, and you still pay what you did prior to the change. It hurts a bit. But give them credit for doing something for you. Enjoy your trip and never look back.
jagi Posted March 16, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 16, 2015 Can you request an upgrade as compensation?
Jim Avery Posted March 16, 2015 #4 Share Posted March 16, 2015 Can you request an upgrade as compensation? Never hurts to ask. You might or might not get it. I have not personally been in a situation on Seabourn where I could ask but it has worked on some other lines.:D
wripro Posted March 16, 2015 #5 Share Posted March 16, 2015 Unless you are in a guarantee category where they will not assign the cabin until close to sailing.
