Rare Turtles06 Posted November 10, 2011 #2351 Share Posted November 10, 2011 Angeljt's walk down memory lane on the Michelangelo had me digging around for an album of those little square Kodak Instamatic photos that I took when I was a kid way back on my very first cruise, on another Italian Line ship, the Leonardo da Vinci. It was 1968, and we sailed out of NY to the Caribbean over Christmas/New Year's. I had a fantastic time! I can't recall the last time I saw an actual wheel on a bridge! Cuizer2 Posted November 10, 2011 #2352 Share Posted November 10, 2011 (edited) I found a picture of my first cruise ship as she was under sail ... I don't know how they did it, but there was no vibrations from the engine. Edited November 10, 2011 by Cuizer2

Shebba Posted November 11, 2011 #2354 Share Posted November 11, 2011 (edited) I've thoroughly enjoyed spending the last few days looking through your amazing photos. I'm a novice wanna-be photographer :p and trying to learn more about settings, lighting, etc. I am in awe of many, MANY of your pictures. Here are a few of mine taken on a wonderful Hawaiian cruise in 2007. These were taken on Kauai. Be gentle! ;) It's my first picture posting! Plumeria Kinda windy. Heh! Stickman81 Posted November 11, 2011 #2356 Share Posted November 11, 2011 So many great pictures, and I've only see a few pages! I've been fairly active on the boards recently, reading about my first upcoming cruise. I don't believe I have ever been in this photography section. Pleasant surprise for certain. Shebba Posted November 14, 2011 #2363 Share Posted November 14, 2011 (edited) It's been rather quiet in this thread lately. Thought I would share some pictures from one of my all-time favorite ports--Kirabati. It was a fascinating little island, very remote, quite primitive. The people there were so humble and grateful to have us visit their homes. It was wonderful and we hated to leave.
