Here are three from a HAL cruise on the ms Rotterdam to the Panama Canal in 2004. First one is from Half Moon Cay, HAL's "private beach". ms Rotterdam is on the left while the ms Volendam is on the right. Link to the larger version: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/21/27191578_4fb20c6856_b.jpg

This second one is a series of 3 or 4 stitched images. It's an early morning approach to the canal from the Atlantic side. While far from technically perfect, it's one of my most favorite shots from the whole trip. Link to a larger version: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/4/6697634_aa21a109fa_b.jpg

Finally, a "fun" picture - "the economy tour". At least every cabin is an outside one. Link to a larger version: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/23/27192393_ef023567af_b.jpg

And an editorial comment - if you have never "done" the Panama Canal, you gotta' do it. It's one of the most fascinating places we have visited.

- Stoney (in northern Virginia)
