Motion blur wasn't an option...it was a fact of life!:D I was at the show with my little Minolta G500 compact and decided to make the best o it with ¼ sec. hand-held shots. The shots came out pretty well, considering.

 

This was from a later cruise where i took the DSLR to the show...

Frankly, I do too. I really like controlled motion blur.

 

It's not a cruise shot, but here is one of my personal favorites...

Taken at the Route 66 festival in San Bernardino, CA. (no Photoshop!)

 

Here's another of the hoop guy, though if you hadn't seen the first one

it would be a little cryptic.... (Still like the first one better!)

 

This sure is a fun hobby!

Thats a beautiful picture of Alaska! Before I went to Alaska,I saw pictures posted here that I thought,that has to be a postcard! Now, I have tons of postcards myself! Some of my pictures do not look real,but look like someone did some major touch ups on! Dot

Copyright does not equal pro. I have several friends who are amateurs who do that so that others do not rip off their work.

Not a pro, just an amateur! Happened to be in the right place(Alaska), at the right time (evening), with a great camera (Sony h-5). It was a fantastic cruise on the Radiance.
