Belize Time vs. Ship Time for Tours

We have booked the Goff's Caye with Belize Cruise Excursions/Island Marketing for January 19th. They confirmed our reservation for meeting at 9am. The ship (Equinox) starts disembarkment at 9:30am. We obviously cannot get to the port likely before 10:30am given the ship disembarks their own tours first. I believe in January there is a one hour time difference - Belize being 1 hour behind. Is the ships quoted time of 9:30 ship time or Belize time? Either way I am not sure how we can meet the tour time on time. Will the boat shuttle wait for us? Or will we end up waiting a long time for a second shuttle to the island? We have read where people stand around a long time waiting to get on the boat to go across to the island. We don't want to rush over there to find out we are waiting for them!! :eek: Anyone have experience with Belize Cruise Excursions and can clarify the time difference?

Hopefully someone who has cruised recently on Celebrity will confirm, but I believe the 9:30 AM debarking is ship time and it doesn't change from Fort Lauderdale time. And Belize is Not on Daylight savings time. So there could be two hours difference.
