Any Blackjack Players Out There

If you have played Blackjack on a Carnival cruise lately maybe you can help me out.

 

I will be sailing on The Valor is 20 days and I wonder what the 6/5 situation is.

 

On my last cruise Carnival only had 6/5 on the $6.00 table, all of the others paid 3/2.

 

Hopefully at the very least the $25.00 still pays 3/2. If not I will be brushing up on my craps game.

On my last two cruises, both within the past 6 months (Magic and Fascination), it was the same story.

 

$6 tables paid out 6:5. $10 tables and above paid out 3:2. I would venture to say that this may be the standard on all Carnival ships.

Same on the Breeze week before last and on the Splendor last month. $6 tables pay 6:5, $10 and up 3:2.

Just played a couple weeks ago. As long as you are on a $10 min table you will get 3-2. But if you bet $25 on a $6 min table you will only get 6-5. So be sure you are on a $10 min table.

In September, while cruising on The Liberty, they would open a $25.00 table for me anytime I asked. I will say the crew in the casino on that ship was some of the nicest I have encountered anywhere.
