Has any one stayed here? How was it?

Often suggested on this board; we have stayed a couple of times at the Homewood Suites around the corner. Nice area near MIA - perfect for those arriving later in the day who just want dinner and a clean room. Shopping/dining available in the strip mall across the street.

 

Nicer area near MIA than many other budget options are in - you will not see any nightlife and are a long way from South Beach, etc., but it may meet your needs. Taxi to POM will run about $26-27 on the meter or the hotel may arrange for shuttle service (fee?).

Yes we stayed this year. hotel is great. The staff is helpful and rooms are clean. There is a Walgreens across the street. Great secure parking for your car.

 

We plan on staying there again next January.

my parents stayed there on their last cruise and are currently booked there again for their up coming cruise in September.
