LCTXcruiser Posted March 25, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 25, 2015 We booked 9202 on the Carnival Magic - I'm excited about having the extra space!!! What are the chances we'll be kicked out of our room and reassigned to another? Aren't there a bunch of handicapped cabins on the ship?
drosphot Posted March 25, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 25, 2015 Here is the map of accessible cabins. Don't know anything about odds of booting you out. I think they ask if you be willing to would move. There are only a few accessible cabins of that class.
cutiepiefred Posted March 25, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 25, 2015 we have been booted from a handcap room at check in, they did upgrade up us though to a balcony for moving

If the OP is not handicapped, if a handicapped person wants to book a HC cabin in that category, and the OP's cabin is required, the OP will be moved, and given either a same category or upgrade. There is no asking if you would be willing to move. It depends on how close to sailing you are as to how likely it is to get moved.

We had to get an accessible room for the DW for our next cruise (in 10 days!) She had back surgery recently and needs a scooter for long walks, still. I had to fill out a form and send it back to CCL make sure we wouldn't get moved.

The other thing to remember is to never book a guarantee cabin if you need a HC cabin. Guarantee only applies to the cabin category, not whether it is accessible or not.
