We've gotten day passes at RIU twice and we've also stayed there for a long weekend. The first time we did the day pass, we paid $100 a person at the front desk. The second time, we booked in advance through Island Marketing and paid $75. The day pass includes use of pool and beach, lunch buffet, drinks (including alcoholic), towels. We usually just hung out by the small pool. The beach is busier. You can use the beach chairs but if you want an umbrella on the beach, you have to rent one. I believe they charge $25.

Gorgeous beach but be aware that it is often too rough for swimming. It's perfect for a long walk though.
