Rare Jamman54 Posted April 3, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 3, 2015 Pretty much a standard Western Caribbean itinerary. What if any, are your concerns?
Jenniell Posted April 3, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 3, 2015 It looks horrible. Really. Please just transfer the cruise to my name instead. I'll go for you and take one for the team. ;)

ASchaff Posted April 3, 2015 #7 Share Posted April 3, 2015 I haven't been to Montego Bay, but I have been to Ocho Rios, and the other ports and loved every single one.
brookeq Posted April 3, 2015 #8 Share Posted April 3, 2015 That is not a bad itinerary. We enjoyed the dream. Sent from my HTC VLE_U using Forums mobile app
suzy1212 Posted April 4, 2015 #9 Share Posted April 4, 2015 Have been to those ports four times when the Conquest sailed from Galveston. Montego Bay is probably my least favorite of the three, but had a good time in all of them. Things we have done: Montego Bay - Sunset Beach all inclusive. We walked from the ship to the resort. Had a good time. Margaritaville, always fun. Rose Hall tour. Pretty cool. "Coral See" semi-submarine. Only time in my life I ever felt seasick. Water was not clear because there had been a lot of recent rains. Grand Caymen - Stingray City, snorkeling, and Rum Point Beach. All really fun. Cozumel - Tulum. Boat ride to the mainland and a long drive. Was really beautiful and interesting though. Paradise Beach and a snorkel tour. Great day! Glass bottom boat snorkel tour. Had my sister and Mom with us that time and they don't get in the water. LOL Chankanaab Park. Very nice. We took a taxi there and back.
Seany527 Posted April 4, 2015 #10 Share Posted April 4, 2015 If you're looking to sail on the Dream and visit Montego Bay, Grand Cayman and Cozumel it's the absolute perfect itinerary!!
Liverpoollovely Posted April 4, 2015 #11 Share Posted April 4, 2015 Day 1 new orleansDay 2 at sea Day 3 at sea Day 4 montego bay, jamaica Day 5 Grand Cayman Day 6 Cozumel Day 7 at sea Day 8 New Orleans On the Carnival Dream. Thanks in advance!!!! Carnival Dream is a lovely ship it was my first Carnival Ship and I have fond memories of sailing on her. Personally I do not like Montego Bay - it was a few years ago we went to that island on a detour from our original port (Ocho Rios) but in comparison to Ocho Rios ... Montego Bay is not that special and I would rather stay on board the ship if any of my future cruises do visit this port
eng4 Posted April 4, 2015 #12 Share Posted April 4, 2015 We were going to do this one but they changed the itineraries on the Dream so we had to switch to the Breeze. Looks good to me.

xeroxme Posted April 4, 2015 #14 Share Posted April 4, 2015 Cozumel and grand cayman will be fun as well as sea days. In Jamaica I wouldn't bother getting of the ship personally. It's my least favorite of all ports.
bakersdozen12 Posted April 4, 2015 #15 Share Posted April 4, 2015 I think it looks fantastic! But then again, that's the schedule that I am doing 10/25 on the Dream, so I'm a tad biased. ;-)

DutchCruiseFan Posted April 4, 2015 Author #17 Share Posted April 4, 2015 The cruise is almost 100% booked because we want a balcony cabin! Now we need to have a cove balcony but we have already contacted our travel agent so let's hope it will work out. We want to sail the 1st of May 2016. 3kids1dog Posted April 4, 2015 #18 Share Posted April 4, 2015 We are doing this one in March, I just booked it yesterday! The cove balconies are awesome, I would always do a cove when booked on that class. Just make sure your location of the cove is more under guest services area. Cove 2301 and 2305, I believe, are in between the lifeboats so you will get more sun. I also find it hard to believe that a cruise for the first week of May so far out is booked up already. :(
DutchCruiseFan Posted April 4, 2015 Author #19 Share Posted April 4, 2015 It is official!! We have just booked this cruise and we had the opportunity to take a balcony on deck 6 and we choose that one. Is anyone having tips for some awesome shore excursions?

skrufy Posted April 4, 2015 #21 Share Posted April 4, 2015 Great cruise, would be even greater if they substitited another port for Montego Bay. The only thing we liked there was going to Margarettaville, having lunch, and a few cold drinks overlooking the bay.
