Sweet_Misery Posted February 20, 2018 #40 Share Posted February 20, 2018 They announced today the Carnival Horizon is going to have 3 new shows, as well as Amor Cubano. The shows will be: Soulbound: "Hosted by Carnival Horizon’s very own “soul catcher,” this fun, high-energy show offers a gothic-inspired journey through New Orleans with stops at recognizable Crescent City landmarks like a haunted paddlewheel ship, an apothecary shop and cemetery highlighted by levitating chairs and other spookily stunning illusions. As spirits are playfully captured and brought back to life through dazzling special effects, cast members belt out R&B favorites like Superstitious, Soul Man and Born Under a Bad Sign." · Celestial Strings: "Billed as a “breathtaking performance beyond your wildest dreams,” Celestial Strings merges the beauty of classical music with modern pop beats that takes place in an elegant and enchanted garden that seamlessly transforms from season to season, stimulating the senses with unbelievable visual imagery, 3D cast interactions and aroma-infused sets to bring the garden to life. The first Playlist Productions show to feature a live string trio, Celestial Strings is truly a multi-sensory symphony for the soul." · Vintage Pop: "Taking viewers back to the Great Gatsby and Cotton Club era with contemporary songs like All About that Bass, That’s What I Like and Work transformed into classic jazz interpretations, Vintage Pop features a toe-tapping six-piece live band performing in a modern-day speakeasy. Highlighted by a show-stopping burlesque number that leaves audiences breathless, Vintage Pop ends with a rollicking after party in the atrium where guests can dance and interact with the flapper- and zoot suit-outfitted cast members." Organized Chaos Posted April 25, 2018 #44 Share Posted April 25, 2018 We loved Epic Rock. Looking forward to seeing it again aboard the Glory in about six weeks. Disappointed it doesn't have the 80's show, my favorite genre of music. Not interested in the Latin hits and I'm not sure how I feel about Getaway Island. I just watched a video of it on YouTube and, even though I like some of the songs, the performance didn't look all that great. Motor City:ABC by Jackson 5 All Night Long by Lionel Richie Baby I Need Your Lovin' by The Four Tops Brick House by Commodores Come See about Me by the Supremes Dancing in the Street by Martha & Vandellas Do You Love Me? By the Contours Heat Wave by Martha & Vandellas I'm Coming Out by Diana Ross I Want You Back by Jackson 5 Night Shift by Commodores Respect by Aretha Franklin Right Back Where We Started From by Maxine Nightingale The Shoop Shoop Song (It's in His Kiss) by Betty Everett The Way You Do the Things You Do by the Temptations Whip It by Devo This looks like a great show. Really like most of the playlist. Look forward to seeing this on Glory soon. Here is a list of which shows are on which Carnival Ship. Updated as of March 15, 2018 https://www.cruisecritic.com/articles.cfm?ID=3235 You beat me to it. I saw that list about a month ago, but forgot to save it. It was driving me nuts because I couldn't remember where I saw it. Finally found it again and was just getting ready to post it.
