mommydoc Posted April 10, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 10, 2015 We are sailing the Getaway in May and also have a Spirit cruise booked for the summer of 2016. If I buy FCCs on my upcoming Getaway cruise, can I use them to pay the unpaid portion of my Spirit fare? Or can they only be used to pay deposits? Is there a limit as to how many FCCs can be used to pay the fare of an upcoming cruise?

triptolemus Posted April 10, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 10, 2015 Far as I know FCRs cannot be applied to an existing booking. One could cancel and rebook, but you can't apply FCR to an existing booking.

They last 4 years and as soon as you buy one you get 100 dollars off your bill on your current cruise. hawkeyetlse Posted April 10, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 10, 2015 Is there a limit as to how many FCCs can be used to pay the fare of an upcoming cruise?Only one FCR per cabin. People have mentioned being able to apply an FCR retroactively to pay $250 of the outstanding balance of an existing booking (for which they have already paid the deposit). I think maybe the date of purchase of the FCR has to be before the booking date of the cruise. Or if not, you have to cancel and reboook. I have no personal experience with this.
