Some random Breakaway questions

1st - I remember there was talk about changing the law pertaining to cruise ship casinos being allowed to stay open while docked in Bermuda, is this the case?

2nd - What time does the casino usually close (on either sea days or port days)

3rd - What time is "last call" on the Breakaway? Is there a set time all the bars close, and the ship stops serving/selling alcohol?

4th - Is Ocean Blue worth the cover?

Thats all I can think of for now. Thanks everyone! :D:D:D

Last year the casino was open from 9PM until 5AM while docked in Bermuda.

As long as you are in international waters, the casino is open.

No.

4th - Is Ocean Blue worth the cover?

I don't know.

Ocean Blue - don't know, it was practically empty every evening at dinner time whenever we passed by. Checkout the menu & not very exciting, IMO - Peking Duck, really ?? You can probably do a walk-in as reservations are probably recommended but not really needed.

Price was as high as $49 p/p (last year when we sailed) lowered to & at $39 p/p last month when we sailed, and said to be adjusting prices downward again to $29 p/p (effective dates - TBA)

Whether it's worth it or not, IMO, you need to decide - it's your money & taste buds.

Nearby the sushi counter was busy and there's always a crowd there @ prime dinner time.

Other Q has been answered.

I like to go to 2 specialties every cruise (in a semi rotation). Ocean Blue was the first time I said: "I would come back here next time." Only you can decide if it's worth the price, but I thought it was. My only issue was not going super hungry. Didn't even have room for dessert, but they sent a cheese plate back to the room and gave us 2 trays of petit fours to snack on while we finished our drinks. If you do go, you must get a side of the charred broccoli (1000 times more delicious than the beans).

A little bit about myself if it helps guide you: both the bf and I are in the restaurant business, but don't consider ourselves foodies. We like what we like, and while we don't often say something is amazing, we also are relatively easy to please. We don't consider the MDR to be good food (for the most part), but it is what we expect for the quantity they are churning out at that price point.
