Rare Kinkacruiser Posted April 14, 2015 #26 Share Posted April 14, 2015 I'd prefer to see the survey appear in my inbox after a week . That would give me time to 'digest' and savor the cruise and possibly give a better review. Nothing worse than an inundation of mail when you arrive home. OCruisers Posted April 14, 2015 #27 Share Posted April 14, 2015 Our bartenders tell us they really appreciate positive comments on the email surveys and that it's the very most important thing we can do for them because they are read by corporate. jeffdal Posted April 14, 2015 Author #28 Share Posted April 14, 2015 I saw a sign in the galley during the tour for staff to remind passengers to fill out email survey.
Rare geoherb Posted April 14, 2015 #29 Share Posted April 14, 2015 2. A tour was inaccurately described in the excursions brochure.I hope you followed up on this in addition to mentioning it in the brochure. We received a partial refund on an excursion that did not deliver what was promised. (I tried to clear it up on the ship with the excursions desk but was not successful. My frustration with those employees was also duly noted in my survey.)
cougaraz Posted April 14, 2015 #30 Share Posted April 14, 2015 I always complete mine but find they are too vague. Sometimes I'd like to make a comment about a great shore excursion or the not so great piano player but there is no actual place to do that on the survey. Anything else you'd like to add is too broad - jostle my memory a little! I would rather have one that lists the different services (casino, shops, entertainment, embark, debark, etc.) with beside it to fill in to rate it (excellent to poor). Further along could be a comment section and wouldn't be much longer than the current survey. I find it focuses too much on listing any crew that went above and beyond - something I'm finding hard to find lately. There are actually comment forms specific to excursions available at the excursion desk. On our South America cruise we had some of the absolute very best shore excursions we've ever been lucky enough to enjoy so we filled out those surveys. I think that the overall survey is okay, but would like more options for detail. It is funny because I work in an organization that depends heavily on survey feedback and it is daunting to process 75 surveys every few days, can't imagine the thousands that Princess must have to work through. It really is an impressive amount of data. I am also pretty stringent in my efforts to make sure that I never complain about anything in the survey that I haven't addressed aboard the ship. Why sail for a week and not give the ship a chance to make things right? We've had great success in such endeavors.
critterchick Posted April 15, 2015 #31 Share Posted April 15, 2015 We fill both out because we may have different comments to make. ;) We ALWAYS have different comments to make! That's the only plus to the electronic survey over the paper one that we needed to hand in before we disembarked. I'd prefer to see the survey appear in my inbox after a week . I would forget too much.:o I just wish that at some point the survey would warn you that you are coming to the end. I just cram in my comments whenever I see a blank space to do so, and I know that once I've commended specific people, I'm coming to the end. But the first time I was caught unawares.
