ccurran86 Posted April 14, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2015 Hey Guys, I live in Orlando, FL and I can't tell you how excited I am that Cuba is officially off the terrorist list thanks to diplomatic relations by President Obama. In July, Orlando will start doing flights to Cuba. There will be restrictions on what your visiting for, but this is a big step to eventually travel to the beautiful country that is Cuba. I have no doubt that in the coming years we will see Cruise Lines travel to Cuba from Florida Ports. They have a booming economy over there because of the tourism industry already and that is without the United States helping. If and when Cuba allows people from the United States to travel to Cuba for tourism purposes, would you want to cruise there?
jamessemaj Posted April 14, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2015 I probably would eventually, but not at first because the prices will be premium, especially from Miami, lol.
ccurran86 Posted April 14, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted April 14, 2015 Definitely will be premium prices for a while. It would be interesting to see what cruise lines will be the first to lineup. There is a huge demand for Cuba right now. I could see 4 night cruises from Port Canaveral and Miami where the itinerary would be Key West, and Cuba. You will more likely see more cruises leaving from Miami. Miami is only 235 miles away from the Port in Cuba.

Exactly what law do you refer to, and as a Canadian, why do you care? US citizens crowding the Canadians in Cuba?
