ducklite Posted April 14, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2015 The web site says you disembark at 8:00 am so I can't see why a 12:06 train would be any problem at all.

justcake Posted April 16, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 16, 2015 Last August we took the 10:20 Amtrak. We were at the station by 9:00 am. You shouldn't have any problem at all leaving after noon.
ducklite Posted April 16, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 16, 2015 FYI--there is a baggage check room at NY Penn, if you are really early you could check your bags and then go site seeing for a couple of hours. Sunday morning in NYC is great, little traffic and less rush.
