Cabin question

Looking at cruise for next winter and am finding a limited availability of cabins in VA or AB category. Are the ships already filled or do they release the cabin numbers little by little. I stopped making a reservation due to awful choices and wondered what choices I might have later on and how easy it will be to change cabins at a later date.

Some cruises do fill up quicker than others.

That seems pretty far out to be filled already. Have you tried calling your TA or Holland directly and asking? Alot of times the website is correct for some strange reason.

In our experience, the HAL site tends to trickle out the cabin inventory. Rather than showing you everything, they'll give you a few of each category. We call our TA if we want something specific. I imagine that you can do the same thing with a HAL PCC.

and the web site just went thru serious maintenance - and is going thru it again on Saturday. Could be that the web site is still glitching. Recommend you contact a TA or check a cruise booking web site to see cabin availability.

Call HAL and ask for a PCC....that would be the easiest thing

Thanks for all the advice.. It worked. HAL came through with an acceptable cabin We called our travel people and we are set to go.
