Las Rocas Resort???

Yes, I dove with Los Rocas and several people snorkeled. It was very nice and private. Plenty of personalized attention.

We were picked up at the cruise dock in a mini van and given a small tour of the island. The resort is very nice and the fried shrimp I had was fantastic. My shrimp dinner with 2 bottles of Coke was about $14. A steal.

We hung out by the water a while and then told them when we were ready to return. Was dropped off at a shopping area close to the cruise dock. Not much to be had, but they did have some beautiful wood carvings. I bought 2 wooden apples for $11, down from $20.

There are tons of children hanging around trying to sell you shells or what not. We were all so tired, I gave 2 boys a dollar each to carry our stuff around while we looked around and to the gate area for the cruise ship. This proved to be a good idea as they held all the other children at bay so we were free to look around without having our arms tugged at every few minutes.

Never done Fosters, but it is probably nice too, but if you want more privacy, I suggest Los Rocas.

There is a small dive shop at the resort and they seemed to have everything. We had our own, but I am sure they could fix you up with whatever you needed.

It is a very small place with many people around to make sure all is going ok for you.

It was about a 30 minute drive to the resort.

Roatan is not like say cozumel. I saw few taxis there. I think it would be best if you just arranged for them to pick you up and then it is no worries.

I think the web site is losrocasresort.com
