what a mess. They closed off the 55th street entrance and are sending everyone up to 59th Street(my secret entrance). There Carnival ships in port this am. Traffic is really bad. If you read this have them drop you off at 10th Avenue and the fifties and walk over if you can.

Do you know how long it will be closed ?, We will be there next Sun

I think it depends on the traffic and how many ships are in Port....I am sure its open now. All three ships are gone..

Just got off the Legend this morning 9/10. Pick up time 10:45. Got in Van at 12:15. Bad traffic.

 

Warning for NEXT WEEK. I was told that there will be 6 ships in at once.

Four ships in port today, including the Triumph which we were on. Here's a tip from a New Yorker (just don't use it when I'm traveling) - when disembarking, exit the terminal and walk one block to 11th Avenue. You'll get a cab a whole lot quicker than waiting on the long lines at the pier!

Or hop on the cross town bus at 50th Street.
