Grandeur Chef's table

Recommended Posts

We have done the Chef's Table on several ships including Grandeur and enjoyed each experience. We did the Chef's Table on Grandeur last May and will have made our reservation for our upcoming Bermuda cruise in a few weeks. The Chef's Table dining room is on the starboard aft side of the main level of the main dining. It is a separate space and we were not aware of noise from the MDR.

The meal is a 5 course menu with wine pairings and costs $70. (If you don't want the wine, I think it's $50.) This was the menu from last year:

Lobster & Alaskan King Crab Leg Salad - pear/grapefruit slaw, citrus dressing & micro greens

Soup Trio - Green pea bisque, double oxtail consumme, porcini mushroom soup

Chinese Style Duck Roll - in crispy crepe tempura with hoisin reduction

Roasted Double Lamb Cutlet - potato-pancetta risotto, broccolini and port wine glaze

Warm Granny Smith Apple, Pecan & Pine Nut Torte - Butter almond ice cream & Calvados whipped cream.

I don't have a list (nor do I remember) what wines were served with each course, but I do remember that the wines were very good and they were generous with them.

We're looking forward to our next visit to the Chef's Table.
