Platinum boarding at Miami

Never had a problem at Miami with Platinum. If there is a line go to where there is a sign that says Platinum/Diamond/ FTTF I think. If you don't see the sign find someone that works there and they will show you where it is at.

You will be put in a special line and taken on the ship first. Last time it we were in the P/D lounge for maybe 15 minutes before getting on the ship.

Make sure and tell the porter that your bags are priority so he can put them in the right bin so they get to your room faster. I believe they put an orange sticker on them.

What has your experience? We board the Breeze in 9 days and this our first experience as platinum in Miami. Last year on the Dream in Port Canaveral is was a nightmare- really hoping for a better experience!

Make sure your priority luggage tags and boarding passes are visible, and follow the priority line to the lounge after going through security. I'm usually there by 11 am after flying in from NY LGA that morning. Get your S&S card and hang out for a few minutes until they have the platinum boarding announcement.

I usually go to my room, unpack my luggage, change clothes and head to Lido for lunch by noon. Enjoy your cruise.

Our experience out of Miami has always been good be it now or 15 years ago.

It is Ft Lauderdale that has been the worse for us. I have avoided there for the last 2 yrs when my year old granddaughter was injured when they called for all Diamond, platinum and fFTTF to board. What a mob. She was in her stroller and was hit in the head by a large carry on carried by a very rude woman.

I wish boarding was done one group at a time

We just boarded the Splendor out of Miami 2 weeks ago ,and while not platinum ( working on it , couple more cruises ) we did have a suite , so we had priority boarding. Right after entering terminal there is a check-in area for all Platinum/Diamond/FTTF/Priority. After checking in and rec S&S cards we were escorted w/ another couple to an elevator and then to the Platinum/Diamond lounge. We were in lounge approx. 20 mins , and then a Carnival rep came to lounge and escorted everyone directly to ship.

Very easy . organized , and efficient !!!!!

Never had a problem with getting through with Platinum (DS and B.I.L.) or FTTF (rest of us) at Miami or PC. We all were onboard at almost that same time. PC did have an issue of finding the right cards, but other than that, checking and boarding the ship was easy
