Eve Posted April 27, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2015 I'm referring to shoe bag with clear pockets that has a hook at the top. We've brought these on other ships and use them to store small items as well as to have a convenient repository for our room keys upon coming into our rooms. I was wondering if there is a hook somewhere to hang it from.
frisbeewife Posted April 27, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2015 I've never been on Oasis so I can't say for sure what might be available for hanging things, but you can always bring those Command hooks (I think 3M makes them) that attach to the wall and easily come off when you leave. I always bring a few of those and they work great.
Clarea Posted April 27, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2015 Also, magnetic hooks would work on the metal doors.
ChipLondon Posted April 27, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 27, 2015 The Magnetic hooks work in all areas, walls doors and even ceilings as the entire cabins are metalic, we always travel with them :) Also, magnetic hooks would work on the metal doors. cruisegirl1 Posted April 27, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 27, 2015 If all else fails, you can always hang it in the closet. M
mrsccgt Posted April 27, 2015 #6 Share Posted April 27, 2015 We had Oasis balcony cabin, and there are hooks on wall just before desk area. I modified my shoe bag by running cord thru grommets to utilize hooks. You are good to go.

The hooks fit nicely over the bathroom door, which is where we use it. When the door is shut, it's out of sight. Never go on a cruise without one! frisbeewife Posted April 27, 2015 #8 Share Posted April 27, 2015 Also, magnetic hooks would work on the metal doors. Maybe I've had the wrong kind of magnetic hooks, but the ones I've tried to use wouldn't hold much weight at all - they kept sliding to the floor. The 3M Command hooks seemed to hold more. But magnets (hooks or just plain magnets) are great for putting papers on the wall at eye height so you can't forget them. Tickets, Cruise Compass, stuff like that - stick them on the back of the door and you can't miss 'em.
Deatsch Posted April 27, 2015 #9 Share Posted April 27, 2015 UH, Why not just hang it on a DOOR?
mrsccgt Posted April 28, 2015 #10 Share Posted April 28, 2015 The hooks on cabin wall on Oasis are at top part of magnetic unit a foot wide by 3 feet long above small shelf and two lower angled compartments for magazines, Cruise Compass etc.

Eve Posted April 28, 2015 Author #12 Share Posted April 28, 2015 Thank you for all the helpful feedback. I'll be getting some of those Command hooks from 3M. I appreciate the suggestions!
Rare Lionesss Posted April 28, 2015 #13 Share Posted April 28, 2015 (edited) First cruise took one with us. After that we were able to place everything neatly () around the sink. For us it took too much travel room. Enjoy we did at first. Edited April 28, 2015 by Lionesss
