Question about the fitness area on breakaway/getaway

We are traveling with our kids on the Getaway in August and on the Breakaway in March. My boys LOVE playing basketball and do so every day of a cruise. The problem we have is that the kid's have an inside cabin and the sweaty sneakers "STINK"!

 

It is not a good air freshener for an inside cabin.

 

My question is: Are there any type of lockers that the boys could keep their sneakers in so that we do not have to bring them back into the stateroom?

 

On other cruise lines - anyone is able to shower in the fitness area. Is that the case on Norwegian?

I think the only lockers are in the spa, and even there, you return your key when you leave. I have two active boys, and know the stink you speak of. Ds17's shoes live on the front porch.
