Carnival Paradise Formal Evening?

Recommended Posts

We will be on the 5 day cruise may 30th, I'm just curious about the formal night, has anyone been on paradise recently that could tell me about it? How dressy is it? Can the kids attend, if so do they need to be dressy also? What night is formal night or elegant night ( whichever it's called) any info would be greatly appreciated, as this is our first cruise!

It is the same on all Carnival ships. "Elegant" night is for the MDR and of course children are allowed to eat there with their families! On Carnival the only thing required is slacks/long pants and a shirt with a collar.

Everything else is up to you! IF you want your family dressed up more then tell them what you wish and have the clothes available for them. Some folks wear suits/ties/ dresses(some even long gowns)but it is not required. My husband just wears slacks and a nice shirt.
