cruzn buckeye Posted May 3, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 3, 2015 I have received pack and play offers in the past. If I get an offer, the pack and play rate is for 2 people, does anyone know how much passengers 3 and 4 in the same cabin would pay... would it be the fun select rate.. or will they have a casino discount as well? Has anyone here done this before?
crzndeb Posted May 3, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 3, 2015 (edited) I had to chuckle...whenever I see pack and play, I think of the play pens for babies, and I thought you were taking quads on a cruise. I think the Carnival specials are called Pack and Go... Edited May 3, 2015 by crzndeb

Has anyone here done this before? I currently have a Pnp rate. It was for two people so it was $130 each for wife and I on lido balcony. Daughter is also joining us and her rate was $599. I would say we didn't pay full price for her lido balcony. Could be wrong, not sure. Total cruise for us was $1450 and we get $100 credit. So less than $500 each for a lido balcony on 8 day to Aruba, I will take it. I just checked and right now the deck 7 balcony would cost us $886 apiece, lido sold out. Cruise would be almost $3000 right now. And it looks like I will get some on board credit from taxes and port as right now they are charging a total of $330 for three of us on mock booking and I paid $205 each, that could equate to almost $300 more on board credit! I will take it...:)Regardless, you should book using pnp rate regardless of how many people, it will be cheaper. Hope this helps.

I think the Carnival specials are called Pack and Go... There is a pack n go which you refer to but there is also a pack n play which the original poster is asking about. From my exporience the deal he is referring to is much better than pack n go.
Marysue11 Posted May 3, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 3, 2015 Why don't you try booking 2 cabins under your name using your rate.
DallasGuy75219 Posted May 3, 2015 #6 Share Posted May 3, 2015 Why don't you try booking 2 cabins under your name using your rate. Because the rate is tied to the VIFP number, he/she has to be booked in the cabin to get that rate. The terms and conditions for that rate undoubtedly limit it to one cabin per qualifying VIFP number. If spouse/partner/etc. also gets the offer, they could each book themselves in separate cabins with one kid each, then switch cabins onboard. Has anyone here done this before? I think 3rd person cost depends on the ship and sail date. My next PNP is next month and I booked it a few months ago. I checked prices for a third at that time and the rate was a typical third person in cabin rate. Third person is often discounted. The PNP offer does not include a third person, but you may get that typical discounted third person rate.
