Wanted to confirm if its possible to use OBC to buy the upgrade from Classic to premium drink package

If so is it possible to buy the upgrade for other guests traveling with us but not in your room? As a gift from my OBC.

If you do purchase the upgrade while in (or near a port) make sure you ask whether there is any local sales tax added to the purchase. This is happening in more and more ports (and sometimes until you get to international waters) so it pays to check.

Interesting .

My friends are thinking of upgrading as soon as they board in Civitavecchia (Rome). I am unsure who they should ask - is the tax shown on the receipt they ask you to sign? and if so can one then simply decline the 'purchase'

Perhaps a call to Cel X UK might get things clarified (joke)

Yes and yes. You can just do it at bar and tell them to put both on your card. It just shows up as bar charge.

Yes and yes, as long as you wait til you are onboard. If you upgrade prior to your cruise you have to use a credit card. (Just clarifying that because there always seem to be alot of questions about using OBC prior to a cruise for drink packages, excursions, etc.)
